How to get into IBS?   

Admissions to the 9 IBS Business Schools is done on the basis of IBSAT (ICFAI Business Studies Aptitude Test). It is a national level exam conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education. The institute also accepts CAT, NMAT and GMAT scores provided that candidates clear the prescribed cut off.

IBSAT is scheduled to be held from December 21 to December 24, 2017. Applications for IBSAT will be accepted till December 12, 2017 in both online and offline modes. You must have a Bachelor’s degree (50% aggregate) from any discipline to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria.

It is an online exam with a total of 140 objective questions. The duration for the exam is 2 hours and no sectional time limit is applicable. The exam paper will be divided into 4 sections- Verbal Ability (VA), Reading Comprehensions (RC), Quantitative Aptitude (QA) and Data Adequacy/ Sufficiency and Data Interpretation (DA/ DI). Negative marking is not applicable which works in your favor.

Like all management schools, students who qualify the entrance test will be selected for the GD/ PI round. You will be divided into a group of 8- 10 people for the GD round. You must exhibit your leadership and negotiation skills while keeping a positive outlook here.
